Signed on to participate in Kat's Art Everyday Month, and had fun picking through my old craft stuff yesterday, but mostly goofed around with materials rather than doing any focused creation. So I'm posting something I fooled around with while experimenting with colored glitter glue. I don't think it's much (and the scan doesn't pick up the colors well at all - there's yellow, green, and two colors of blue and pink in there if you can believe it). Part of me would rather not post at all than to post something that isn't (in my thinking) fabulous and brilliant. But I'm posting it anyway because nobody said it had to be brilliant. The point (or my interpretation of the point) of AEM is to get the creative juices flowing without judgment, so here it is: the thing I played with yesterday.
Didn't make any art today...unless my pasta dinner (which was delish) counts. (i should have taken a picture of it!)
Your sunny glitter drawing makes me think of California ... sigh.

I like this very much. It has a lot of movement. And I'm glad you're sticking to the AEM philosophy and posting what you make... I've been dealing with a little anxiety about imperfection, and I'm glad others are posting regardless of it. Makes me feel like I have company.

If I thought it had to be "fabulous and brilliant" I'd have never signed on! :) I bought some kiddie art supplies the other night...we gave away all of the supplies we had in the V.I. Didn't think to get any color glitter...next trip...good idea. :)
