I use the HooHa word a lot too, but in none of the ways you describe. In my world it is a word substitute, but more precise, and very much on purpose in a euphemistic way. It's the substitute for those bodily orifices for which it is generally socially unacceptable to mention by more clinically accurate terms in polite company. This is done in an effort not to shock the more sensitive constitutions that I may encounter (or not realize are present).

Such as in the phrase, ‚ÄĚThat dang dog came up behind me and stuck his stupid cold nose right in my hooha!"
