The Zimmers are a group with 40 members whose average age is 78. And they rock out while making The Who's My Generation into a shake of the shoulders anthem to anyone who might be ready to let them f-f-fade away. (and there's a bit of that "carpe diem" stuff creeping around at the edges too ...)

My iPod just popped up the Donny and Marie "Deep Purple" song and I had to come over and say Hi. I think you have become imprinted forever in my psyche beside everything Osmond, Brady and Partridge.
This is very cool. I'll have to check it out. I've been thinking for some time now that as long as Mick and Paul are selling out stadium tours, they are pushing the rock and roll cool margins back further and further (age wise).
This is proof if there ever was any.
